When you visit Australia, there are hundreds of amazing animal encounters in Queensland. You can feed wild dolphins at Moreton Island, Brisbane. Their sanctuary is at Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort where visitors have the opportunity to hand feed these marine creatures and even swim with them at Sea World on the Gold Coast.

Between July and November, cruising whales migrate from the Great Barrier Reef to the Southern Ocean. The Hervey Bay is a great spot to view Humpback Whales. There are whale watch cruises and aerial tours available.  There also thousands of turtles dragging themselves up the beaches of Central Queensland.

In Tropical North Queensland and Sunshine Coast you can have encounter with crocodiles. You can spot crocodiles on a Daintree River Cruise or by Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures.

A stunning array of marine life can be found in the Great Barrier Reef. Visitors will encounter marine creatures such as clown fish, giant clams, manta ray, maori wrasse, potato cod, sharks, turtle and whales.
